I take Art History and become fascinated by the Vestal Virgins. I start watching Doctor Who, see the Doctor and Donna visit Pompeii. The girl they meet could have joined their number, but is sworn to the Sibylline instead.

My un-grandma takes two of my sisters and me on a European cruise. I walk the time-smoothed stone-paved paths of the Forum and stand beside the ruins of Vestia's temple. The fire no longer burns.

Everywhere i turn, teenagers are wearing Chuck Taylors, and i am reminded of the Doctor. There isn't enough time to see it all. I long to travel the world, but only for two weeks at a time. After that, my heart desperately longs for home.
